Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our project intends to supply tablets to our Special Education kids in order to give them access to a customized and safe learning environment. The Amazon Fire Kids tablets provide regulated access, allowing kids to view only pre-approved educational sites, hence improving their online safety. This is in contrast to other tablets that provide uncontrolled access to websites.

Ensuring the safety of students online while maintaining a conducive learning environment is one of the issues we encounter.

Similar to iPads, many tablets have parental restrictions, which are helpful but still allow access to non-educational information. However, the Amazon Fire Kids tablets only allow access to websites that teachers have reviewed and approved, guaranteeing targeted learning opportunities.

These Fire tablets provide a customized learning environment, visual aids, and regulated access. Our teachers will be able to provide individualized education with the use of these tablets, enabling every student to realize their full potential.
