My Students

My students are a diverse group of kids with many different learning styles. This year our goal was to create a classroom environment that allows students the opportunity to work either in collaborative groups or independently. Using a personalized learning plan students set SMART goals throughout the year. Students are also learning how to work in teams. Students are learning team-building skills that will not only encourage them to work in groups but also teach life skills in the real world. I love the way my students work together in collaborative groups and show ownership of their own learning when working independently.

My Project

The materials purchased will give my students the opportunity to engage in in-person learning in a safe and clean environment. The items will be used for in-school learning. Especially this year with so much unfinished learning, these materials will help support students targeted differentiated instruction and personalized learning plans. The materials will also provide students with personal materials that will prevent contact tracing and sharing of materials.

Being that most students started school ill-equipped these materials will give all students a chance to learn with the appropriate materials needed for success.
