Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our health class, we've started our unit on personal hygiene. We're learning why hygiene is important, strategies for keeping our bodies clean and taken care of, and ways we can implement good hygiene into our daily routines. While we've learned a lot, sometimes it's hard for us to get our hands on the toiletries that are necessary for keeping clean. Deodorants, toothbrushes and toothpaste, floss, and moisturizers are all important components of daily cleanliness, but they're expensive! With your help, my students will gain access to the basics and the necessities, and they'll have the opportunity to have a set of toiletries that are theirs and theirs only. When you look good, you feel good, and when you feel good, you do good. My students deserve that.
