This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Through "Personal Growth Through Social-Emotional Learning Texts", students will gain the tools they need to understand their emotions, build meaningful relationships, and develop the confidence to navigate life’s challenges. These carefully selected books provide powerful stories that help young readers see themselves in new ways, fostering empathy, self-awareness, and resilience. As they engage with these texts, students will strengthen their ability to express their feelings, handle conflicts with kindness, and develop a greater sense of belonging. By incorporating social-emotional learning into their education, we are helping to shape a generation of compassionate, confident, and emotionally intelligent individuals ready to thrive in school and beyond.
