Personal Finance: From Pencils to Paychecks

Help me give my students the basic tools they need to succeed—pencils for everyday learning, calculators to build financial literacy and math skills, and a classroom microphone so all voices can be heard clearly during discussions and presentations.

My Project

What I love most about my students is their diverse backgrounds and their eagerness to learn skills that will help them succeed in life. They show up each day ready to grow, ask meaningful questions, and support each other in our classroom community. The pencils ensure every student can participate fully, no matter their access to supplies. Calculators help bring real-world financial concepts to life, from budgeting to interest calculations. The microphone is especially important—it allows me to provide live subtitle translations so every student, including English language learners, can understand the lesson and feel included.
