This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My goal as a teacher is to not only provide my students with access to educational items, but also personal items. Sometimes students can't focus on learning simply because they don't have the bare necessities.
Moving forward, I want to create a section in the classroom that allows students to have access to hair ties, band-aids, hand sanitizer, deodorant, and toothbrushes.
These items will be out in the open so students don't have to feel embarrassed to personally ask me. I know that with these simple yet necessary items, it will be a game changer in my students' education.
