My Students

The students at my school are dedicated to success!

All of my students come from low-income homes, but that does not stop them from pursuing their dreams.

Many of these students face daily challenges at home and outside the classroom. However, once they step foot into the school they are all goal-orientated and will not let anything come in their way of succeeding! They use these daily challenges to drive them even closer to their goals.

My students work hard no matter what level they are at. They are not afraid to take risks, ask for help or challenge themselves. My students are true scholars!

My Project

I am so excited to be teaching back in person with my students this year! However, we have had to be very creative with ways to keep our students engaged while also ensuring their safety and following COVID safety guidelines.

Math is a very hands on subject and I want to make sure my students get that fully experience in my classroom this year.

The laminator, thermal pouches, and cardstock in this project will give my students and I the ability to create individual personalized dry erase boards. They will be able to keep these items in their backpack at all times to ensure we do not have to share materials. In the case that any student or class gets quarantined, they will still have access to their personal white board while learning from home!
