Personal Care Products for Maui Keiki

Help me give my students from a low-income area personal care products such as hair brushes, toothbrushes, deodorant, and lotion that would benefit them GREATLY in the areas of personal hygiene.

Aloha!

This DonorsChoose campaign is about giving students the things they need to take care of their bodies and to practice good health habits.

The requested items will make health and hygiene packs for approximately 100 students who already participate in our "Backpack Buddies" program, which sends students home with food for the weekend. The school already provides bathroom products like maxi pads for young girls, but there is always more we can do!

The items included in this project include items such as lotion, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, hair brushes, combs, and the actual pouches themselves. These are essentials that can help students practice good health habits and increase their confidence as they take care of their appearance and health. This also alleviates some financial burdens for the hard-working parents in the community.
