Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For this proposal, I am requesting sets of brushes for all our art room and painting needs. The rushes are sets that will be distributed to the students in the beginning of the year. They will be encouraged to keep them in there shelf of the art room. This way they are responsible for the upkeep and care of the brushes. This way, the better they take of them, the more enjoyable the painting experience will be. Art students will know they have what the need and not worry about less responsible peers mishandling their tools, creating a better sense of security in the art room. These brushes are soft, yet sturdy and make the painting experience so enjoyable. I like watching kiddos play with the brushes, even feel the bristles on their hand and they get excited. Painting can be a very lethargic and healing activity and high quality supplies make it even more enjoyable. My art students understand he value of our tools and learn how to properly care and maintain them, therefore these brushes will be able to be used for years to come and allow for countless kiddos to enjoy the art journey.
