My Project
I am a former fifth grade teacher moving to first grade with very little in my room for students to interact with. I need books for the library, STEM activities for Fun Friday, and phonics activities to teach reading. My students are very chatty and wiggly due to lack of socialization during preschool due to COVID. I could use wiggle seats, activities that promote collaboration and fine motor work, and some books to enjoy with my students after lunch. The board I asked for would promote writing during our center/small group time. I would also like to give my students activities to calm them during long instructional days as we have just adopted CKLA and spend most of our day reading. Please help me make my classroom more primary friendly as this room has been cleared out.
