My students need a color printer and ink cartridges to enhance their work. All students don't just see in black and white. A laminator and pouches will help preserve their work and enhance the classroom.

My Students

I am a special education teacher at a 9th grade high school. We're a new school in an urban area. It is our job to educate our students. With everything being in black and white, students don't get to see the beauty of it all. By laminating an item we display in the classroom, we can preserve them.

The population of our school is African American and Latino, it is located in the heart of an Urban district.

We are a new charter high school with 2 locations. The main campus is grades 10 - 12. I work at the 9th grade campus. My students have different special needs but I know they all can learn. I want to create an environment where they can create and appreciate their surroundings.

My Project

Having a color printer will allow the children to create vivid projects and display them throughout the school. I requested a wireless one because our computers are wireless and the teachers can print the work from their desktops and send it to the printer. A laminator will enable the teachers to preserve the work and display it in a neat, clean manner.

This project is important to me because I want my students to be able to show and display their creative side.

Through color and preserving, they will be able to show what they're made of.
