Periodicals During a Pandemic

Help me give my students these magazines which will add high interest homework materials in addition to our normal curriculum. These will help students keep up with current events and expose them to engaging informational texts.

FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Robinson's classroom raised $246

My Students

My class of 30+ students reflects a wide range of cultures, ethnic backgrounds, and academic abilities. Our school sits on the outskirts of a large metropolitan area and my class does not currently have any periodical subscriptions. My students are wildly curious about the world around them and love the opportunity to read about and discuss current events.

My Project

I have ordered these magazines for several years and I know for certain that they have boosted my students' skills and provided them with hours of reading enjoyment outside of school. Students love accessing these Scholastic materials online as well so they are perfect for our current situation with distance learning.

Parents also appreciate having such high quality materials to review with their children.

These magazines are always a big hit with students and adults alike because they are fun, colorful, and educational all at the same time.
