Help me give my students a new and updated periodic table. The one that is in my room is left over from the previous teacher. It is severely out of date and in disrepair.

My Students

My students are 8th graders. We cover topics including: genetics, reproduction, natural selection, geologic time scale, chemistry, and force. My students enjoy the more hands on and inquiry based science activities. They are overall creative, invested, and ready to learn!

It is interesting and exiting to see how much they grow and learn over the course of a school year.

They start off pretty rocky, lacking some key skills, but by the end they are almost a completely different person.

My Project

We are just about to start our chemistry content in a month or so. I have an old periodic in my room left over from the previous teacher. It is missing some of the newer elements and is torn in several places. I use the periodic table a lot in class when we start to talk about elements and atoms.

It makes it difficult when I have to refer to such a travesty of a periodic table.

It would also fill the blank spot on my wall nicely. I am working on making my classroom a much more presentable and put together space.
