Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

A majority of the students and staff here at Olmsted are female. Many of them have already started puberty; however, we do not have access to adequate female pads in the bathroom nor do we have anything to relieve cramps.

This makes some students skip school due to the pain and many feel a general sense of discomfort.

We wish to change this and make our school a place where all students can continue their education without disruption. For this reason we need tampons, pads, heating pads, and general female hygiene products.
