This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I've again been asked by our school office manager to create a project for paper for our entire school. Our budget is in turmoil this year—and, as hard as it is to believe, we are—yet again—in danger of running out of paper this year.
Imagine a school without paper: there would be no way for students to practice math, writing, history, and science, and they would fall even farther behind their peers in well-supplied schools.
We are an equity-focused school, with all our students receiving free and reduced-price lunches. As a school, we truly can't function without paper. Our students have enough obstacles to overcome without adding another one. Please help us get more paper so we can keep the assignments—and learning—flowing!
