This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are learning the rich history of drama. And that can not be taught without exploring Radio Plays. Radio dramas was the entertainment of an era. And there are becoming more relevant now as they are being adapted for podcasts. I want to give my students the opportunity to explore this genre. This will include, performing a radio play and creating their own sound effects for the play using pre-digital techniques. As we learn about the past of radio plays, I want to inspire my students to explore how they can adapt these techniques in the future.
