This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The students in my class are fun loving and hard working. They love to read. As a school located in an urban area, my students face many other challenges. For my students, school is a safe place where they come ready to learn every day! My school is very proud of how hard our students work and the accomplishments they make each day. They love to create interactive presentations they can share with other students in the classroom and beyond.

My Project

Our classroom has one desktop available for use currently. This laptop will help students have a way to create and present their work. This Lenovo laptop will allow students the tools needed to type their reports, create presentations, and do research for their projects. By having a laptop, students are not confined to sitting in one spot to complete their computer work. They can sit at their seat or take the laptop to another area of the classroom or school to complete their tasks. Students will be able to learn how to type their papers and create websites. I can't wait to see this technology in the hands of my students.
