Ms. Dansbury from Memphis TN is requesting technology through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need a color printer with a warranty to publish their upcoming Think Show projects and product protection plan.

Don't let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do. That is my motto and I do not want my children getting left behind. Without a printer, we are missing out on so many opportunities!
My students are from a low income community of African American students.
My students are second grade students ranging in grades from 6 to 8 who attend a college prep program. The students love to learn new things with technology and they enjoy reading and writing
Twice a year we hold MCS Think Show fairs where students are able to display their computer projects. We have combined local, state, and national computer standards into one curriculum. During each nine week period, students practice skills and create projects based on combining the state curriculum standards with the computer standards. The printer will enable students to be able to more easily print off necessary requirements for the display board and projects. As they will be able to instantly print off their work, I can also give them more immediate feedback. Students learn hands-on how to work and operate a camera, along with refining design skills. We are requesting a printer as a way we can add to our projects by actually getting the pictures out of our camera and onto projects and scrapbooks. We are the history keepers for our school, and we want to create scrapbooks.
By supporting this project, you will enable to a school full of students the opportunity the get their project out of the camera and into their hands so they can easily visualize what they have created.
