Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My P.E classes are large and heterogenous. Many of students are developing their confidence and learning how to communicate in large group settings. Having portable volleyball nets that are scaled down will allow students to develop their skills in a setting that is less stimulating and with students that have similar skill-sets. Also, having these light weight pieces of equipment will allow my students to set-up anywhere. This is important during inclement weather where green-space and shade is limited. In addition to P.E. classes, our school has several community building events throughout the school year that utilize the gym and these events will also help students develop their skills.

I believe that having these nets, volley balls and scorekeepers will help my students advance their skills.
