My Students

I am a Third Grade teacher. My students are 3rd graders who are creative, resilient, and hardworking in the classroom. I believe that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. It is my desire, as a educator, to help students meet their fullest potential in these areas by providing an environment that is safe, supports risk-taking, and invites a sharing of ideas.

My Project

A student portfolio is a consist of academic work and other forms of educational evidence for the purpose of academic achievement, whether students have met learning standards and growth. Portfolios can help teachers evaluate students growth. They can also encourage students ownership and to be responsible for their own learning process. Portfolios can build a bridge for parents and teachers to communicate about his or her child's growth. Portfolio's are used to collect students work such as test, quizzes, writing assignments, and projects. Students will benefit from these binders and sheet protectors to organize their projects so that they can reflect in their learning process.
