My Students

Do you love to see all of your students get excited about learning? I know I do, especially when it comes to getting back to in person learning and making connections with great content, activities, and exciting units of study. My students are a diverse group of learners coming from a variety of backgrounds. They also are very imaginative and ready to create their own works of art! Most of the students are looking forward to our poetry and figurative language unit and cannot wait to make their own poetry books with their own creations.

My Project

This project will make a difference by letting my students be their creative selves! We are going to use the blank books and markers to show what we have learned about poetry and figurative language to build our own poetry creation.

By allowing students to create their own poetry notebook, it allows them to not only show the knowledge they have gained but to use this creative outlet to express emotions about the work that they have both read and then created and written.

What a great way to end the unit and allow the students to create something of their very own.
