This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many students have expressed interest in this novel. Especially with the new TV show coming out. I am hoping to provide them an "escape" into this world, while also being mindful of the different activities they can do.
I would love to provide each student with a copy to read along with us, as something magical happens in our brain when we hear words as we read them.
Many of my students are bilingual and still struggle with reading. By providing them a novel that has relevance to their world and is about students their age - I am hoping to broaden their imagination.
