This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are eager to learn how to play instruments, but may not have the resources at home to do so. School is the place they can do this! By purchasing more instruments, each student can have their own when we play together during class.
My goal is to have a percussion ensemble in which each student has an instrument to play.
They will learn their parts and be able to play together by listening and working as a team. Covid 19 kept my students from being together and learning from each other. Percussion Ensemble is the perfect way to overcome this and heal together through music.
