My Project

Each year our school office is flooded with students needing to see the nurse. While most of the time the problem is just needing a little extra TLC or maybe some school anxiety, students still need to feel that they are being loved and cared for.

Nothing soothes the tummy and makes things better than a big hug and a mint.

Sometimes a child is truly sick and needs to go home. But many times, all the student needs is a mint or some crackers to make them feel better. The student gets a big hug, a peppermint candy and usually is able to make it through the end of the day. These supplies will help those students feel taken care of and loved and keep them at school. Then we all will be doing the Peppermint Twist.
