This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The children I teach are a delightful bunch. They bring joy to our day at school and are special in their own way. The boys and girls come to school and strive for excellence in their school and home activities. They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!

Many students in my classroom come in saying they have difficulty completing practice assignments at home because of lack of pencils and other supplies.

My Project

Pencils, pencils and more pencils are just what aspiring math scholars need to complete math activities. The children have used up all their pencils and need more to perform math computations and journal writing.

Along with the pencils they need sharpeners to keep their writing tools sharp to easily write in their journals to the point.

Some students have been using crayolas or color pencils to do their math. It's okay, but nice sharp pencils allow for a neater and clearer presentation of activities.

The children are also in need of folders and handwriting paper to hold some of their assignments.

These simple supplies can make a difference in the children's school day. Your help can bring a smile to the boys and girl and surely make math and journal writing less stressful.
