This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have a class of energetic, enthusiastic, and amazing students. Our school is a Title I school where most students come from low-income or poverty-stricken homes. All of the students receive free or reduced-rate lunch. Most are English Language Learners, while some have special needs. These students come to school eager to learn every day with big smiles on their faces, regardless of their circumstances.
I want to help these students in every way that I can in order for them to be successful in reaching their goal of developing their skills, and of course, have fun!
My Project
I am very excited to meet my new class of amazing kiddos! The best part about it is that we will be returning to in-person learning! I cannot wait to grow along with my students this year and share all of their amazing experiences with their classmates, parents, and our school!
This year, I would like to supply my class with a some important supplies that they will need and use throughout the year.
The pencil boxes will contain their essential items such as pencils. The laminating pouches and card stock will be used to create fun labels for the classroom. The Kleenex tissues will be placed in different areas of the classroom so that students will always have access to them whenever they need to.
