This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
It's only November but our pencil supply is already running low! The Pencil Monster must sneak into our room at night and gobble up our pencils! Where else could they all go?!
My 70 fourth graders are some totally awesome kiddos!
We are a very diverse group of students who attend an inner-city school in the state of Maryland. We are a low income school but that doesn't hold us back! We love doing our best and showing off our math skills!
My Project
I am requesting 960 pencils so that my kids can have plenty of pencils to get our work done! This quantity will enable children to take pencils home to do homework, too! I know the pencils I've chosen are a bit pricey - there are cheaper pencils out there. However, you truly do get what you pay for in the world of pencils - these pencils are a high quality so we won't have to worry about the points breaking when we try to write!
This project is important to us because, well, we need pencils!
Without quality pencils (there are some seriously yucky pencils out there!), we spend more time sharpening and less time working... Will you help?!?
