This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students come from a variety of diverse backgrounds throughout the greater San Diego area rich in ethnic diversity and a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds.
My students are curious, energetic, excited, and inquisitive, desiring more STEM tools to allow and encourage them to explore and learn more about the world around them!
I am elated to provide them with hands-on, interactive, and exciting project-based learning STEM opportunities to get them excited about learning - wherever and however we do - amid this global pandemic. Thank you for helping me show my students how their STEM education can open opportunities for their professional careers, wherever they may lead!
My Project
Pencils are a necessary tool for learning in education. Teaching students how to be prepared with materials and also providing the practice of hand-writing STEM labs and Science worksheets will help improve literacy as well!
Help give my students fun, funny, and funky pencils that will motivate them to BRING THEIR PENCILS to class every day to maximize our STEM writing opportunities!
With everyone receiving new supplies - that they get to choose for themselves - students will be excited to select supplies that will support their learning. By providing materials to ALL of the students, we are not singling out students who need them but are too afraid to ask or request. I am excited for them to see the supplies and then want to use them for the various activities throughout the year!
