My Students
My school is in Norfolk, Virginia. We are a Title I school where all students receive free breakfast, many receive free or reduced lunch. At our school there is a heavy population of special education and English language learners.
My students are hard workers who deserve every advantage they can get.
We work hard to create a sense of community where all types of learners are valued and welcome. You would find their empathy, inclusiveness and understanding to top notch.
My Project
The items I am requesting are used on a daily basis within my third grade classroom. Unfortunately, many of my students come to school without needed supplies and the supplies that we do have are vanishing quickly.
It will help my students to focus on learning, when not concerned about having needed supplies.
These supplies will be readily available to students so they can complete tasks in a timely manner and without the embarrassment of raising their hand to ask for basic school supplies.
I know these supplies will have a positive effect on my students and look forward to seeing their smiling faces when they are using them.
