This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a first grade teacher, I see every day how excited my students are to learn, explore, and create. This summer, I’m preparing to fill our classroom with the essential supplies we need to support hands-on learning and help each child reach their full potential.

First grade is a big year, as this is when students learn to read, build math skills, and begin developing critical thinking and creativity.

To make learning meaningful, my students need access to materials like crayons, markers, books, dry erase markers, writing journals, math manipulatives, and other basic supplies.

Unfortunately, many families in our community struggle to provide these supplies. With your support, I can ensure that every child has the tools they need for a successful and joyful school year. Your donation will help create a classroom where learning is active, imaginations are sparked, and every child feels ready and empowered to learn.
