Help me give my students a pencil for Algebra! I teach in a high need district and most students do not have something to write with. These would definitely be utilized!
Pencils only! We use pencils every single day in Algebra, so students learn that mistakes can always be fixed. We work through multi-step problems and spend a lot of time graphing throughout the year - no pens allowed!
Most of my students have no materials from home and rely on me to provide them.
A pencil allows them to solve problems, write essays, and simply be a better student!
Having pencils to give students to keep will help them all day long. My students will definitely appreciate these! And I will appreciate not having to sharpen hundreds of pencils!
