My Project

I am not sure where to start. I teach 7th grade at our middle school. I love my job and love my children. In a perfect world, my students would come to school with all of the appropriate supplies but most don’t even have enough clothes or food to eat. How can I be upset when they don’t have a pencil?

Not having a pencil is a daily battle and one I choose not to fight.

My students can’t read on grade level and certainly can’t do math at a 7th-grade level. I will do battle over the math issue but I just need pencils to be supplied for them.

Please if you can help, any amount would be helpful. As a teacher with gray hair already, you will have helped me not pull my gray hair out! Thanks!
