This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from a very low income area. The parents use all their funds for essentials (food, clothing, rent ) and the district gives us almost no more to start. We get a pencil per student, two erases, 16 crayons and 2 glue sticks. That is it and the pencils will break. Teachers can't ask the parents for wish lists so we are asking here for help.
Every year, I buy all the students their supplies and this year thanks to me being sick with cancer, I cannot afford to buy it all.
I do not want my students to go without or just the few whose parents bought them supplies have them. I am seeking the help of wonderful people who can help start the year off stocked up.
