This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Every day, my students start off in our gathering circle. After they take care of housekeeping, we come together to discuss what we will be learning about today. They can't wait to start the fun learning. This is our motto: Listen, Think, and Try! My students work hard every day and they are super eager to learn.
My students come from a variety of backgrounds.
They range from students who are learning the English language (ELL/ESL students) to ones who are special education students and everyone in between. The community is very supportive of our school, and we work to meet the needs of all our students.
My Project
My students are starting kindergarten this year! I hope to provide them each with a glue sticks, pencils, and white boards.
Pencils and whiteboards are a great way to illustrate and be creative during writing lessons!
The white boards will be for practicing what we learn. They can practice writing their name, letters, and numbers. As the year progresses they will be able to write sentences. Pencils and glue are needed for so many activities in reading and math. These basics will help my students start the year off right! Thank you for your consideration!
