Every day is a fun day in our classroom. As a teacher, my main goal is to teach the students and have a great time while doing it. My students are a heterogeneous group and very active. My students have mixed abilities, interests and learning goals. My students love having items to make learning fun and to show their creative abilities. I am constantly looking for more materials and ideas to help students become more engaged while learning.
My students not only learn the standards through the curriculum but have the opportunity to learn social skills, and problem-solving skills through real-world situations.
These students are not only my students, but I consider them my kids. I would do anything for them and want nothing more for them to be successful.
My Project
I have 27 energetic students in my classroom. They are often losing their pencils or constantly having to sharpen them. We have officially run out of pencils for the remainder of the year. We are looking to get pencils to get us through the end of the school year.
These Papermate Handwriting Pencils are perfect for my students.
They will promote a better grip as well as better handwriting. A couple of students in the class have these pencils and I have already saw the positive changes in their writing. My students who have these pencils are excited to write!
Our pencil sharpener is also on its last leg. I have used my current pencil sharpener for 5 years. It does not sharpen anymore. The tips are constantly breaking and just not sharpening.
Please help give my class pencils and a new pencil sharpener!
