My Students
Liberty is independence, freedom, and the ability to move courageously in the direction of your own dreams. Our students at Kipp Liberty are leaders who model team & family and a love of learning, every day. As a new middle school serving some of the greatest students that Liberty City has to offer, we accepted each scholar who displayed interest in our school vision with open arms and we have fostered an environment where students love to get caught reading, helping their peers, and taking academic risks. Liberty City, like so many rich and historical neighborhoods, fits the narrative of many underserved U.S. low-income communities, however, our students refuse to let circumstance determine their future.

My Project
Let's lay the foundation for one of the MOST EXCITING middle school student stores Miami has ever seen! Each month we celebrate our students for exhibiting our values: grow through struggle, live my purpose, and spark love! They have shown an immense amount of gratitude for our weekly shout outs, positive reports home, and student spotlights. But, let's face it, we all appreciate a little "extra" for our hard work. This student store will reward students who maintain positive behavior and display our core values all month long, meeting their individual monthly reading word goals, and taking on rigorous academic content positively and courageously.
