Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach a class of kindergartners in a low-income area in Maryland. Parents are not always able to provide students with the supplies they need for school. With a class of 27 students, it is financially difficult for me to provide supplies for each child.

I have a bright, hard-working group of students. Unfortunately, most of them came to school with only their brains. We are in need of basic school supplies.

My students need pencils, crayons, scissors and glue. My students are eager to learn, but are limited by the lack of basic supplies.

You will give my students the materials they need to have a productive, educational and fun school year! With your help, I can only imagine the amazing things my students will accomplish this year!
