My students work so hard that they consonantly need new pencils and to sharpen pencils. We just broke our fourth pencil sharpener this year. We need a heavy duty sharpener to get through the day!
I have 27 students of various learning ability and backgrounds.
Several of my students do not speak a word of English. Others are inclusion students. And still others receive related services: SETTS, academic intervention, speech, occupational therapy and counseling. All of my students come to school each day eager to learn and try their best.
My Project
The materials requested will help provide the most basic classroom tool - sharpened pencils!! We have gone through four pencil sharpeners this year alone. We need something heavy duty to keep up with our hard work. In addition, we are always in need of pencils and sharpeners. My students need a pencil sharpener, pencils, paper and erasers.
Donations to this project will make all the difference in the day to day in my classroom.
We often waste time scrounging up pencils and using cheap handheld sharpeners to have the most basic of classroom supplies to do our work.
