Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach a group of 27 eager and awesome 5th graders in an urban southern California school.

My 5th graders have amazing abilities but our computers are so old we might as well be using a Gutenberg Press. Trying to access our Accelerated Reader program, our new Math curriculum, doing research and even word processing is a problem.

My students need a laptop computer and Microsoft Word. A new computer will benefit my students by giving them a resource that will help them attain the standards of learning they need to succeed in the 5th grade.

Your help will make it possible for my wonderful class to be successful in more content areas. They will be able to learn and practice skills that will take them beyond their wildest dreams. Thank you for consideration.
