This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are eager to learn and rise to the high expectations set by my school and myself. They love learning and this passion for learning helps them motivate one another. I teach in a Title I school district, so resources can be limited. However, I want my students to understand that our surroundings and situations don't determine our outcomes in life. I want them to know that they can be successful and thrive wherever they are. We reside in a quiet community and school district that supports teachers and students.

My Project

Pencils and pens, two of the most important tools when it comes to the classroom. Students value having the tools they need, but have no power over whether or not they have them day to day.

Please help me give my students two of the most pivotal tools in education to help them record their brillant ideas.

Writing is a major cross curricular skill that needs a great deal of emphasis.

With your support, my students can have what they need on a daily basis to be successful and I can help them with being avid, intentional, constant, focused, and better writers.
