This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want my student to receive nice pens and pencils so we can do creative writing projects. I firmly believe students will have pride in their writing when they have nice instruments of education. I have had students tell me that they wish they had nice utensils to write with. The days of old stick-yellow pencils are over.

I want to foster creative writing and energy through the use of nice instruments of education.

I have my students write 3x a week - Monday, Wednesday, Friday. I have creative writing prompts that deal with music, poetry, and the arts. It would be so incredible to surprise them with nice pens and pencils.
