Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
What I love most about my students is their resilience, curiosity, and the joy they bring into the classroom every day. They come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, yet they support one another and show an incredible willingness to learn and grow.
The carpet will give us a central gathering space where students can feel grounded and connected during group lessons, story time, and class discussions.
It will help build a stronger sense of community and provide a soft, safe space for collaboration and learning.
The fluorescent light covers will soften the harsh lighting in our classroom, creating a more calming and focused environment. Many of my students are sensitive to bright lights, and this simple change will make a big difference in reducing distractions and helping them feel more comfortable and engaged.
These resources will help transform our classroom into a peaceful, welcoming space where all students can thrive.
