My Project

It is my second year as an elementary school counselor, and I am looking for items such as a table lamp and desk organizers that will help to make my office feel more calming and serene when students or staff need a break. My students sometimes need a way to process their emotions and thoughts, so being able to provide notebooks to them is one tangible way to help them practice self-regulation. Additionally, I would like to have some more soothing lighting for my office so that when students need time to calm down and process their emotions, the lighting helps to create a tranquil space for them. Lastly, having an organized space allows people to feel more at ease when they have a lot of things on their minds, so I would like to incorporate more systematized means for having my lesson plan materials ready or small group lessons accessible without cluttering up my counter space in my office.
