Please help me give my students comfortable, easy-to-clean classroom library furniture.
I am a second year teacher and I have spent the year designing my classroom to meet students needs.
Flexible seating is one of my classes' favorite ways to make learning more enjoyable and relaxing. The choice to switch up their work space and to take responsibility for their learning into their own hands by verbalizing that they need this small change has been such an important skill this year that my kiddos have mastered.
Our classroom library is my students favorite spot in my room. We currently use miscellaneous seating that have been handed down from previous teachers. Unfortunately, there is not enough seats for the class to use this area at once. With your generosity and support, I am hoping to provide the students with more up-to-date furniture to help make their favorite place even more relaxing and comfortable. This furniture will be used year after year and influence more students then just my current class. This project will also help me take strides towards my goal to create the most welcoming and effective learning environment possible.
