My Students

My personal goal as a teacher of 3rd grade is to help my students develop the ability to take on unique and creative assignments. This is not only in academic curriculum but also in personal curriculum. In both of these endeavors my students have been able to start looking outside of the educational box we sometimes put them in.

My students are beginning to understand when situations arise how to look for non- judgmental, but good solutions.

This can relate to physical situations and transfer into academic learning. Such as having a student who appears to have difficulties in an academic situation and helping this student to comprehend a possible answer from a friendly source such as a peer. Because of this attitude that is growing in my students, with more computers the peer-to-peer learning would be greatly enhanced. My goal in the classroom is to have my students work in a more cooperative situation by helping each other succeed in their goals

My Project

I feel this project can help my students understand that in a time of total commotion students can find time to be creative, work with their hands and design project using their imaginations.

Planting seeds in the soil and taking care of them can help them see that their lives , starting can can blossom into beautiful things.

They also learn the importance of helping things grow.

I have added a green screen so the students can create videos of reports and projects for the internet and for home that they can share with their parents and others.
