My Project

Every year I have the most special and kind children, who deserve the best environment to learn. We have been using the same old broken chairs, for as long as I can remember. Each start of the school year I have to dispose of a couple that are in the worst shape, with no options of something new to replace them with. These are cracked and broken with the bottom pieces missing, which makes them wobble. New chairs will allow my students to be able to focus on instruction and feel there is a cohesiveness in our learning environment.

My goal is to use the new chairs to make our classroom feel more up to date, inviting, and comfortable for my students.

I want my students to feel like they all have an equal chance to have functional things, instead of looking to their neighbor and seeing they have a chair that actually functions properly or looks a little better than their own. My students do not always have the best things in their home environment and I would like for them to have something new and fresh in our school environment.
