My Project

I have an amazing class that has worked very hard this year to create an environment where everyone feels safe and heard. One of the ways in which they have learned to self-regulate is to go to our peace corner when they need a break from class. From the corner, the students are still able to listen to the lesson and see what is going on. But it allows them to take a break from whatever is a stressor to them. We have a plant, a bird feeder on window, and soft lights. We just need comfortable seating to complete the space.
