This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Physical Education is such an important aspect of a student's education, but finding activities that are unique and enjoyable for all can sometimes be difficult. Our school is based primarily for students on the Autism Spectrum, which means creating inclusive and interactive lessons for all students! This equipment will allow our students to work on key developmental tasks like teamwork to complete a task through the stretchy band, throwing using the ring toss, jumping and running through the obstacle course equipment, and so much more, but in a fun and different way. The possibilities with our requested equipment are really endless and provide such great variety for our students! Physical activity is such an important aspect of life that I want our students to learn and be able to apply into their lives forever!
