This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Thanks to amazing organizations like Donors Choose and our local school foundation, I have all kinds of amazing and diverse P.E. equipment. My students are truly blessed. They play fun and engaging live-action games that improves their catching, throwing, kicking, trapping, dribbling, and overall fitness. I store lots of equipment on our school's stage.

But the equipment is scattered and disorganized and needs to be kept safe.

Plus, I transport equipment from the stage to the gym and out to the P.E. field. This project will not only keep all my P.E. toys safe and transportable, it will give me peace of mind knowing it is secure through the summer and waiting for my students in the fall. I've also included three sturdy aluminum nets for my students to play balloon volleyball and practice their volleying skills.
