My Project

PE is a great time to encourage my students to live an active and healthy lifestyle. My students love to play soccer and kickball during PE. I have recently introduced them to Capture the Flag, relay races, and volleyball. Teamwork learned during physical education classes translates nicely into group projects completed in the classroom. Team sports help kids to learn how to work together toward a common goal, promotes healthy competition, and good sportsmanship.

To actually have our own classroom kick balls, soccer balls, volley balls, and other PE equipment would help my students to be more active and promote a healthy lifestyle.

My students absolutely love PE and being outside and moving. I am really looking forward to my students actually being able to participate in sports and have access to the equipment like students in more affluent school districts.
